Cecile Marketing is a web studio based in Ontario, Canada. We build websites and software for businesses that need the work to actually pay off: roofers and contractors, private schools, churches, and local operators who have been burned by a cheap template or an agency that stopped answering the phone.
Most of what we do falls into two buckets. The first is websites: designed properly, built on WordPress block themes your team can edit, fast enough to rank, and structured so search engines understand them. The second is software, meaning custom applications where an off-the-shelf tool would mean bending the business to fit the product.
We are deliberately small. That means we take on fewer projects than a larger shop, and it means the person who scopes your project is the person who builds it. It also means we can say no to work that isn't a good fit, which is better for everyone.

You work directly with the person building the site. Nothing gets lost between an account manager and an offshore team.

Your domain, your hosting, your code. We set things up in your name so you are never locked in or held hostage.
Plain language
No jargon in the proposal and no surprises on the invoice. If something is a bad idea, we will say so.

We favour boring, well-supported technology over whatever is trending. Sites we built years ago still run fine.
